Rental Agreement Terms

These Rental Agreement Terms ("Agreement") govern the rental of vehicles from Road to Gold Rentals LLC ("Company," "we," or "us") by the renter ("you" or "Renter"). By completing a booking and taking possession of a vehicle, you agree to all terms below.

A refundable security deposit of $200 is required before vehicle pickup. The deposit will be refunded within 24–48 hours of vehicle return, provided:

Important: Deductions from the security deposit will be itemized in writing and communicated to the Renter within 48 hours of vehicle return.

4. Insurance Requirements

All renters must carry valid auto insurance that covers rental vehicles, or must purchase rental coverage prior to pickup. Road to Gold Rentals LLC maintains commercial auto liability insurance ($1M combined single limit) covering the vehicle. However, the Renter is responsible for:

The rental vehicle may only be operated by the Renter identified in the booking. The vehicle shall NOT be used for:

6. Mileage Policy

All rentals include unlimited mileage within the state of California. Out-of-state travel requires prior written approval and may be subject to additional fees.

7. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Renters are expected to return the vehicle with the same fuel level. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge of market-rate fuel cost plus a $20 service fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

Late returns are charged at the daily rate of $80 per day for each day beyond the agreed return date. A grace period of one (1) hour is provided. The Renter must notify Road to Gold Rentals as soon as possible if a late return is anticipated. Failure to return the vehicle within 48 hours of the scheduled return date without prior arrangement may be reported as unauthorized use.

In the event of any accident, damage, or mechanical issue:

The Renter is responsible for all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including damage caused by weather, vandalism, or theft, subject to insurance coverage.

Road to Gold Rentals provides 24/7 phone support for any vehicle issues during the rental period. Contact Eddie Ashley directly at (323) 949-4959. In the event of a mechanical breakdown not caused by the Renter, Road to Gold Rentals will arrange for repair or replacement at no additional cost to the Renter.

14. Traffic Violations and Tolls

The Renter is solely responsible for all traffic citations, parking tickets, toll charges, and any associated administrative fees incurred during the rental period. If Road to Gold Rentals receives any such charges, the amount plus a $25 administrative fee will be charged to the Renter.

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
